From dance to theater, teaching to therapeutics, Kayla Fell has committed herself to exploring the mind-body connection as a path to self-expression, centering and vitality. She has been teaching 1-on-1 yoga therapy and group yoga classes in the Philadelphia area since 2009, and is accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Her ongoing work focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and management of symptoms from chronic conditions. Former co-founder of Nava Yoga Center in The Navy Yard (2013-7), Kayla established yoga and meditation as a viable therapy within a leading sports medicine institute, specializing in hip and core muscle injuries for professional, collegiate and recreational athletes. This unique setting invited daily collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists and massage therapists on treatment plans for individual clients and specific conditions or injuries.

Kayla is driven to establish engaged, informed, evolving relationships with physicians, athletic trainers and physical therapists. She believes in yoga therapy as a launching pad to empower individuals with a role in their own healing, via compassionate, informed self-care. When not teaching, Kayla is Creative Director for the award-winning Refugia Design and lives with her young family in Narberth, PA.
